Taste Test by Detroit Free Press

The scoop: These Michigan-made dressings were created by Etienne Farah, owner of Alia's Catering in Southfield. They're available in Pink Creamy Greek, Oily (a Greek-style vinaigrette), Ranch and Honey Dijon.

The taste: Pink Creamy Greek is very pink, but tasters loved its herby tang. Honey Dijon also was a favorite. It looked more like whole-grain mustard than dressing, but the flavor was nice. Tasters liked that these are Michigan-made and use natural ingredients.

The price: 12-ounce bottles retail for $4.99 at Hiller's, Papa Joe's and Holiday Market stores.
